Nader is 23 years old from Shuja’iyya, Palestine. Before the accelerated genocide, he studied interior design and later worked at Bab Al-Bahr Restaurant, where he was thrilled to earn the title of chef after two years of hard work. Due to zionist brutality and destruction, Nader and his family lost their home, their relatives and friends were martyred, and their source of income was squandered, making survival in the face of this brutality near impossible if it weren’t for their faith and steadfastness.

Nader suffered an appendicitis rupture on January 19th at the British Hospital in southern Gaza. After surgery, he returned to the north just as displaced families from northern Gaza began to return to their homes. During this time, enemy gunfire erupted near him. He fell directly onto his abdomen—the same area where he had just had surgery. The impact caused severe pain and swelling. Three days later, he went to Al-Ma’madani Hospital, where doctors had to reopen his wound.

Nader has endured this reopening of his wound three times, and to this day, he continues to fight infection. He desperately needs a skilled surgeon, but due to the accelerated genocide, there are no specialists left in Gaza.

Due to the enemy-manufactured famine, Nader continues to fight starvation and has experienced extreme weight loss. He has lost 21 kg, now weighing only 54 kg.

His family has been displaced 12 times, living in tents for a year and a half, with no end in sight. Nader now carries the burden of being the family’s provider, as his parents are elderly, meaning Nader consistently risks his life to gather food and supplies at skyrocketing prices to keep his family alive. Nader and his family need urgent support to survive this famine.
